Our family holiday home Vacances au Lac is located just 500 metres from Lake Saint-Pardoux, which offers a wide range of sporting activities such as sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, water skiing and wakeboarding at Lake Wakepark, swimming in the lake or in the pool, Aquapark, Adventure Park (accrobranche), fishing, pedal boating, etc.
All three (sandy) beaches on Lake Saint-Pardoux have a playground for younger children, a multi-sports field for the more athletic, lifeguards and ice cream and drinks for sale in the summer months, picnic tables, toilets and showers.
The lake really offers everything for a family holiday with children and teenagers. Even grandparents won’t be bored.

Lake Saint-Pardoux is still relatively unknown to the general public and is still under development. As a result, the prices of all activities are still very affordable.

The Limoges Aquarium is located in the centre of Limoges. Step into the underwater world in an old underground water reservoir. Discover various species of freshwater and saltwater fish and everything that lives in and on the water.
Le Reynou Zoo in Le Vigen.
Giraffes, tigers, lions, polar bears, wolves, monkeys and many more animals to discover. You walk along the steppes and through the (bamboo) forests and can observe the animals at length. In the goat park, you can pet the goats and feed them popcorn.

The large Aquapolis swimming pool is located 15 minutes from the holiday home. It has a large recreational pool with water jets, a slide, waves, whirlpools and a large paddling pool for the little ones. At certain times, there is an inflatable structure in the competition pool and the diving boards (1 m, 3 m, 5 m) are also open at certain times.

Village Martyr in Oradour-sur-Glane
The massacre of Oradour. A village where, on 10 June 1944, the Nazis murdered all the inhabitants, shooting the men in a square and burning the women and children in the church. The village is still as it was left at the time. A reminder of a period we never want to relive. Worth visiting with slightly older children and teenagers.
